I took this photo of this in a friends house, it is a design based on inches, feet and yards, what’s missing from the photo are two stripes of a tape measure, one above, one below. It’s been printed on a linen handkerchief. Such an elegant and joyful representation of imperial units, his designs are so individual. His canon of work is relatively small, he died so young(lost at sea1942)
