Double Portrait – Finished?

Having decided to scrape off most of the face to the right, I have re-painted her and finished almost everything else, just few corrections and some glazing still to do.

The work goes on getting stronger and more and more resolved. It really pops out now. Kingy would have been proud of you!

Thanks James, I wish I had begun earlier and had more time but that’s what we all do I guess! Procrastination . . .

I think it is a strong, vibrant and insightful work, powerfully executed. My son, David, had a sticker on his bedroom door when younger: “procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.” Sometimes the pressure we put on ourselves ultimately gives us the energy to complete something :-)
