Having decided to scrape off most of the face to the right, I have re-painted her and finished almost everything else, just few corrections and some glazing still to do.

Thanks James, I wish I had begun earlier and had more time but that’s what we all do I guess! Procrastination . . .
I think it is a strong, vibrant and insightful work, powerfully executed. My son, David, had a sticker on his bedroom door when younger: “procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.” Sometimes the pressure we put on ourselves ultimately gives us the energy to complete something :-)
